New record of Covid infections in Sardinia, where almost 1,800 new infections were ascertained in the 24 hours. In the latest update there are also four new victims and two new admissions to intensive care. With just over 10 thousand swabs performed, the positivity rate is close to 18%.

Here is the full bulletin released by the Region on Monday 10 January 2022: “In Sardinia today 1792 further confirmed cases of Covid positivity, based on 3,327 people tested. A total of 10061 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

There are 27 patients admitted to intensive care units (two more than yesterday).

The patients admitted to the medical area are 191 (the same number as yesterday).

16466 are the cases of home isolation (1501 more than yesterday).
There are 4 deaths: a 63-year-old man residing in the province of Oristano; 1 91-year-old woman residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; 1 92-year-old man residing in the province of Southern Sardinia and 1 patient residing in the province of Nuoro ".
