Is a Russian spy ship cruising south of Sardinia? This is the hypothesis of the specialized site Itamilradar, which monitors the routes of airplanes and boats around the world, relying on open sources.

In recent days, movements of American and Italian military aircraft have been observed, which carried out some missions off the coast of western Sicily and then moved further west, between Sardinia and Africa.

Yesterday, it is reported, an Atr P-72A of the Italian Air Force was monitored, "this time south of Sardinia", the site states. And it adds: "Although the complete flight path is not available, the aircraft remained in the area for approximately two hours, before heading towards its base in Sigonella".

Then it was the turn of a Boeing P-8A of the US Navy, "which took off from Sigonella and remained in the operational area for approximately 5 hours".

Today another American Boeing flew "at an altitude of about 10,000 meters off the coast of Algiers", Itamilradar explains, "in a position that could be consistent with that in which the Russian spy ship could be found, "monitored" in recent days by NATO aircraft".

The planes, it is theorized, are monitoring the movements of the Russian ship "Yantar, which left Alexandria, Egypt on January 3, or perhaps the Kildin, which left Tartus on December 17."
