Over half a kilo of drugs and a smartphone seized and the arrest of an external accomplice : this is the result of a major operation by the Penitentiary Police in the Uta prison , which dismantled a complex network for the supply of narcotics .

The operation was triggered during checks during interviews , when officers spotted an inmate hiding a package among his underwear . His girlfriend and mother were immediately arrested. It was discovered that the young woman, subjected to a search, was wearing clothing specially modified to carry and conceal drugs. The searches resulted in the seizure of hashish, cocaine, heroin, and a smartphone. Precision scales, large sums of money, and packaging materials were found in the woman's home and car.
