Still no trace of Luciano Luccheddu, the 80-year-old retiree who disappeared on March 30th after leaving his home in Olia Speciosa, a hamlet of Castiadas, for a bike ride.
In the last inspection, the search teams inspected various areas and roads adjacent to Provincial Road 20 and the areas surrounding the man's family property.
The Mobile Coordination Center was positioned in Maloccu, but the inspections once again did not give results.
In these two days of activity, the operators of the Alpine Rescue and Speleological Rescue covered areas and paths for a total of 114 km and inspected, also through the eye of a drone, another 69 hectares.
On the field, in addition to the Alpine Rescue of Cagliari and Sassari, also the carabinieri of San Vito and Castiadas, the volunteers of the Civil Protection Sarrabus Gerrei, the firefighters, the personnel of the Forestry Corps of Castiadas. The searches will resume tomorrow at first light.
