The safety of our territory is not an option, it is a priority. And we are working, without stopping.
"In Camisa, the river will no longer be a threat. We have already cleaned up the area, but the real change is coming: stronger embankments, a safer bridge, a wider flow. The new abutments, raised by one meter and built with stone gabions, will no longer act as a barrier to the water, but will guide it safely."
The update on the safety works against the hydrogeological risk in the village of Castiadas comes from the mayor Eugenio Murgioni.
"When it rains, it will no longer be a problem," assures the mayor, "in the north, water will no longer be able to turn into a danger. New pipes will collect torrential rains, avoiding flooding and risks. More resistant roads, safer crossings, more solid infrastructures. The sum of 704,231.01 euros of European funds to protect our future."
When everything is completed, Murgioni asserts, "the citizens will be able to enjoy Castiadas without fear. More safety, more tranquility, more beauty."
