The firefighters team of the voluntary detachment of Carloforte intervened this morning shortly after 10 am in the locality of "Miniere di Bocchette" to rescue a dog that ended up in an underground tunnel .

The owner raised the alarm: as soon as he realized that his four-legged friend was not returning from his exploratory walk, he got in touch with the 115 operations room .

The operators entered the mining area in search of the little dog , identified after a few hours scared, tired and disoriented due to the long wandering.

The Fire Brigade then recovered it and entrusted it safely back into the arms of its owner.
