Carbonia: Two cars collide at traffic lights, one ends up on the school wall. Eight injured

Bad accident late this evening in Carbonia . For reasons yet to be ascertained , a Seat Leon and a Ford Fiesta collided at the intersection of Via della Vittoria and Via Mazzini . After the violent impact , the Ford Fiesta ended up on the perimeter wall of a school .

Immediate rescue with the 118 personnel of the Narcao, Sosago Gonnesa and Solky Carbonia volunteers who took care of the occupants of the cars. In total there are 8 injured, including a 2-year-old child who as a precaution was transported to Brotzu for checks . The other occupants with various multiple traumas were accompanied to the nearby Sirai hospital in Carbonia. Also on site were the medical team from Sirai and that of Iglesias for two injured whose conditions are more serious . However, no one is said to be in danger of life.

The Carbonia firefighters and the Carabinieri of the San Giovanni Suergiu station also intervened, assisted by their colleagues from the Radiomobile.
