Carbonia, flames in a house: three people in hospital

Three people were taken to hospital for initial intoxication this morning in Carbonia, following a fire in a house .

The flames started from a blanket warmer and then spread to the mattresses in the bed.

Luckily, no one was in bed at the time. The flames also engulfed other furnishings in the room and smoke spread to other rooms where the tenants were staying .

The emergency number was called immediately. The ambulances of 118'Asvoc and Sulcis Emergenze arrived on site, as well as the firefighters of Carbonia who put out the flames and secured the house.

For the residents, there was a lot of fear and they were transported to Sirai in Carbonia for tests .
