Carbonia, car destroyed by flames: the fire was arson

Car on fire during the night in Carbonia .

The owner of the vehicle noticed what had happened around 1am, but his Kia Sportage, which was parked under his house, was already engulfed in flames .

The fire brigade was immediately called, and from the detachment on Via Roma they reached the driveway on Via Quintino Sella. The car was practically destroyed and from initial information the fire appears to have been of malicious origin, remains of a diavolina were found near the car . A patrol of the Carabinieri were also on site, and they have started investigations to trace the perpetrators of the act.
