A new parking regulation has come into force in the city center, and in some districts, roads have been established where it is mandatory not to exceed 30 kilometers per hour.
The latter recently affected Medau Su Rei (highly requested by residents), Santa Caterina, and Is Maccionis. Meanwhile, for the blue-lined parking areas, paid parking has been introduced using parking meters, and free parking without time limits is available for residents with a permit.
For paid parking spaces, the rate is in effect Monday to Saturday, 8:30 am – 1:15 pm (excluding holidays), 0.30 cents for 30 minutes, or 0.50 cents for 60 minutes; 25 euros for a monthly pass.
A free 15-minute ticket issued by the parking meter is also available. Paid parking is available in Piazza Ciusa, San Ponziano, Matteotti and Rinascita, Via Nuoro, Via Brigata Sassari, Turati, Post Office, Gramsci, Largo Montuori, and Viale Arsia. Finally, 25 spaces have been set up for residents with an annual pass, marked with white lines and a dedicated sign.
