The 26-year-old young man from Sorso who, riding his Suzuki 750, collided with a Volkswagen Golf on provincial road 25, just outside the town, is in critical condition.

The boy is hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the civil hospital of Sassari with a reserved prognosis.

The collision occurred on Sunday morning just before midday when, according to initial reconstructions, the young man who was coming from Sorso, having passed the curve near the Tamoil fuel station, found himself faced with the car which was preparing to turn left towards of a local road. The clash was inevitable.

The boy violently impacted the Golf, ending up on the bumper and then on the asphalt. His condition immediately appeared worrying. He was transferred to Sassari in code red aboard the Areus helicopter rescue.

The driver of the car, 55 years old, from Sassari was also injured. His condition is not of particular concern.

In addition to the 118 health workers, also the carabinieri of the Porto Torres company, the Sassari fire brigade team and the local police of Sorso were on site.
