Car invades construction site on 131 and hits workers: three injured, one in serious condition

Tragedy narrowly avoided during the night on state road 131 at kilometer 31 between Serrenti and Nuraminis: a car invaded the area of a construction site, hitting workers. One suffered serious injuries, in particular fractures to the legs, and was transported by 118 to Brotzu with a red code assigned.

Two other colleagues suffered minor abrasions and were treated on the spot. They managed to avoid a worse impact with the car by jumping.

The dynamics are being reconstructed by the Carabinieri who intervened immediately after the accident also to assess the conditions of the driver of the vehicle that hit the workers.
