Serious accident this evening around 7pm on State Road 126, Olbia-Calangianus.

A car, for reasons yet to be ascertained, went off the road and ended up hitting a rock. The impact was very violent.

The firefighters had to extract the driver from the wreckage and then hand him over to the care of 118 personnel.

The helicopter rescue team subsequently intervened on site and transported the injured man from the Tempio hospital to the one in Sassari.

The surveys were carried out by the Carabinieri.
