Capoterra, the tanker loses diesel and the road becomes a bar of soap

Problematic morning in the Frutti d'Oro roundabout , on the Sulcitana state road in the territory of the municipality of Capoterra .

A tanker from the Sarroch refinery leaked a large amount of diesel, making the road look like a bar of soap . There were numerous rear-end collisions, skids and going off the road, fortunately without serious consequences for the drivers and passengers of the cars.

Alerted by the numerous phone calls, the Capoterra traffic police intervened to slow down traffic and avoid further accidents . Then the workers of the Municipality went into action and cleaned up the road and spread salt.

After a couple of hours the situation returned to normal .
