After part of the proceedings of the Turin investigation into the capital gains on Juventus were sent to the Cagliari prosecutor's office, as happened to various other Italian prosecutors, an investigation was opened in the Sardinian capital into the sale of a black and white player to the rossoblùs.

The file was assigned by the prosecutor Rodolfo Sabelli to the group that deals with financial crimes. The investigations concern in particular the sale of Alberto Cerri to Cagliari: according to the Turin investigators, his sale, which took place on 12 July 2018, would have generated a capital gain of 8/9 million, with immediate positive effects on the balance sheet of the Juventus club.

For the moment, according to the few leaked rumors, no one has yet been registered in the register of suspects, given that the investigation is still in its initial stages, despite the fact that most of the investigations have already been carried out by the Turin investigators and then sent to Cagliari for competence .

On other sales of Juventus players that ended up in the crosshairs of the magistrates, the Turin prosecutors sent the papers to the competent colleagues according to the recipient clubs of the individual players.
