But the citizens of Cagliari who were waiting to see the bulldozers in action immediately were disappointed: still no operational means today, with many inhabitants believing in a new setback.
Mayor Paolo Truzzu clarified the stalemate: "In a few days we will see the workers again with the means: reopening a construction site is not like flipping a switch , it assumes a whole series of activities".
So the operations, in fact, would have already begun. They would simply find themselves in a preliminary phase for returning to via Roma: «He assumes», continues the mayor, « the return of the means and the reorganization by the company that has the contract, because it certainly had workers employed elsewhere : I believe that we will soon see them operationally at work again».
