Tragedy in the Castello district of Cagliari. A woman was found lifeless inside her home in via Corte D'Appello. The death, according to what we learn, dates back to a few days ago.
The alarm was raised in the late morning by some neighbors, alerted by the strong smell coming from the apartment. An element that, linked to the failure to collect mail and the absence of waste containers outside, noticed for some time, made them fear the worst.
The call to 112 brought an ambulance from 118 and the Carabinieri to the scene, who received support from the fire brigade in opening the door.
Once inside, the discovery: the woman, EM, about 60 years old, originally from Guspini, was dead, lying on the bed. The coroner, who intervened for the cadaveric inspection and the inspection, did not find any signs or elements that would suggest the intervention of other people. Everything suggests that it was a natural death.
