Via Roma will close its doors from Monday 27 March. The decision was made this morning in the Cagliari Town Hall, during the technical table in the presence of the councilor for traffic, Alessio Mereu .

The section affected by the works will be the one that starts from via Barcellona and reaches piazza Attilio Deffenu. The remaining one , up to the Rinascente, can instead be used by residents as a car park . The estimated duration of the interventions will be approximately four months .

On the other hand, traffic is still active in viale Trieste, where work has already begun with the mapping of trees up to viale Sant'Avendrace. At the end of the procedure, the road will be closed in the stretch that goes from Piazza del Carmine to Via Pola. Traffic will be diverted to via Roma , in the section parallel to viale Trieste.
