Two arrests during the night in Cagliari for receiving stolen goods and illegal possession of ammunition.

A 42-year-old Albanian residing in Cagliari , unemployed and with a clean record, and a 27-year-old from Iglesias , unemployed and known for previous legal events, end up in handcuffs.

The request for intervention from the carabinieri came from via Is Mirrionis , where a 24-year-old from Furtei told the military that, shortly before, while walking in the nearby via Trincea dei Razzi , intent on returning home, he was approached by two people, a foreigner who had two switchblade knives in the right and left hands respectively, and an Italian holding a metal golf club.

The two ordered him, threatening him, to hand over to them what was in his possession. The victim then dropped a bag containing personal effects and a wallet containing 200 euros, and then fled to the nearby Via Is Mirrionis.

The carabinieri, on the basis of the descriptions provided by the young man, managed to track down the two robbers in via Tolmino. The subsequent search , also extended to the home of the two, allowed to find a 22 cm long switchblade knife , another 13.5 cm long, a metal golf club , as well as 2 jacketed 9x21 caliber cartridges , one 7.65 caliber jacketed cartridge, 4 blank 9x21 caliber cartridges, various material of probable stealth origin , documents and credit cards in the name of various people, various items of clothing with price tags, a pair of shoes and 3 electric hair clippers .

Also found was the bag containing the personal effects owned by the robbed young man, which was then returned to the rightful owner.

The two arrested were sent to Uta pending the validation hearing.
