The novelty is represented by the instruments, the fissuremeters, which the technicians have used in the last 24 hours and which make it possible to measure and monitor any movement of land and buildings .

In via Dettori, in Cagliari, where about eighty people were removed from their homes after the risk of collapse of several buildings was declared last Saturday , the technicians of the Municipality, the firefighters and the Civil Protection are working tirelessly to identify the causes and secure the area.

"Further investigations - non-invasive - have been ordered to better understand the conditions of the buildings and the subsoil", reads a note from the Municipality on the sidelines of an extraordinary meeting convened in the Prefecture to study solutions and strategies for damage and cracks on the buildings at the Marina.

" It will take 3 or 4 days of observations which will also allow us to understand how to carry out the safety measures", writes the Municipality in a note.
