Cagliari, Molentargius: The green area remains closed due to "falling branches."

Disappointment for those who, in these early spring days, choose Molentargius Park for a stroll. This green space, adjacent to the access bridge to the Cagliari section, is "locked down" at all four entrances. A sign warns: "Caution, area closed to the public due to danger of falling branches." All the city's gardens are accessible, except the Molentargius-Saline Regional Natural Park, despite the wind emergency having been over for days.

A group of young people forced their way through the main entrance this afternoon to kick a ball around on the grassy area. The hope is that the area can be reopened over the weekend and made accessible to everyone, without having to breach the security barriers.
