Cagliari, lighting arrives in Su Siccu: 4 months of parking bans

The Port Authority wants to bring light to the darkness of Su Siccu. And to allow for work to be done in the eastern area (the one toward the Nervi Pavilion), long parking restrictions have been imposed.

"The lighting in the areas of Su Siccu on the east side and near the entrance to Nervi Park," the order states, "is insufficient for the activities carried out there and to ensure public safety."

The work on the systems has been entrusted to Icea Srl and will last 120 days, divided into two lots "to limit inconvenience to users and still allow safe access to the Magazzino del Sale park, the premises in the area, and the concessions."

The bans (on transit and parking) will be in effect from November 24 to March 18, 2026.
