An illegal club transformed into a presumed drug market . This is what was discovered in Cagliari, in the Mulinu Becciu neighborhood, by the State Police who arrested a 43-year-old local , already known to the police, for the alleged crime of drug dealing.

The business was located inside a public housing building. What alarmed the investigators of the Flying Squad in recent days was the constant coming and going of people in the premises. The agents also noted the presence of a video surveillance system, useful for alerting those who were operating inside the building in case the police were to approach.

During the operation, the police first stopped some customers, who had recently purchased doses of cocaine and hashish on them, and then broke into the facility where they found the 43-year-old. After the search, several grams of the narcotic substance were found in the club, as well as all the material for packaging and dividing the drug into doses, including numerous clippings. 630 euros in cash were also seized, considered the presumed proceeds of the illegal activity. The man was then taken to prison in Uta at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
