Cagliari, illegal constructions and waste disposal: two land seals in San Paolo

Fight against illegal activity on the outskirts of Cagliari. Six citizens were reported, four Italians and two Senegalese, and two areas subjected to preventive seizure.
All in the San Paolo area, at the gates of the Sardinian capital, by the Carabinieri Forestali of the NIPAAF (Environmental, Agri-food and Forestry Police Investigation Unit) of Cagliari and Sassari, supported by the local police of Cagliari.
These are private lands in which various irregularities have been found: illegal constructions in an area which, being close to the sea, is subject to landscape restrictions, unauthorized management of hazardous waste and disused vehicles.
Furthermore, upon the arrival of the military, one of the six deferred citizens was caught burning waste and also reported to the prosecutor for this reason.
Three non-EU citizens were also found in one of the plots, one of which without documents and therefore taken to the Police Headquarters for expulsion.
If in the first private land the seizure had already been validated immediately by the Prosecutor of Cagliari, for the second a new intervention by the forestry carabinieri of Cagliari became necessary in recent days who, supported by the local police of Cagliari and by the Carabinieri of the of Sant'Avendrace, under the delegation of the Prosecutor of Cagliari, they carried out a new preventive seizure which also sealed this land.
The area was also cleared of a dozen abandoned vehicles just outside the impounded areas.
