Yesterday, for eleven male and female students of the University of Cagliari, beneficiaries of housing, the doors of the Viale La Plaia Campus "Emilio Lussu" awaited for years, but inaugurated just two months ago, opened.

«A historic day - says the general director of ERSU Cagliari, Raffaele Sundas - was an opportunity to immortalize the important moment with a photo of the first students accompanied by the manager of the ERSU structure, Michela Muroni, who is entrusted the task of carrying out the operational start-up of the Campus».

The boys and girls entered the brand new structure on the outskirts of Cagliari, also accompanied by the president of the institution, Cosimo Ghiani and by the members of the Board of Directors.

Ghiani, before crossing the entrance, wished the male and female students "a good stay and a good start in the use of this brand new structure", reminding them that "it is a "their" structure and not that of Ersu , created with cutting-edge criteria which will be followed by other services of the same level», asking that they become «the first custodians of the structure».

The new central structure, close to the port and the railway and bus stations, has a capacity, for now, of 240 seats, but now there is also great anticipation for the start of the second intervention. The Campus has spacious and bright corridors. Each room has a bathroom, one or two beds and large desks. Some floors are equipped with collective spaces, study and fitness rooms, all in a well-kept and reserved context.
