Restaurant owners in downtown Cagliari are offering hot meals to homeless residents of the city's shelters.
Anna Puddu, the city councilor for social policies, spoke about the first two lunches held as part of the solidarity initiative.
"A Christmas for everyone can only begin with attention to those living in a state of serious marginalization," says Zedda, a member of the Municipal Council.
Today was the first Christmas event, "a hot meal offered by the restaurateurs of Marina and Corso to the homeless people staying in the city's dormitories."
A special thanks goes «to the Consorzio della Marina and to all the restaurateurs of Corso Vittorio, who made the initiative possible by allowing the most vulnerable people to spend a day in company».
