The patient numbers are not impressive. The duration of the waits yes. So much so that many, after hours spent on a stretcher, decided to give up treatment and left.
Stories of (extra)ordinary hardships that arrive on a Tuesday in July from the hospitals of Cagliari. There are ambulances waiting to be able to "unseat" the patient since 10 this morning: over 6-7 hours with the crew blocked and the operations center having to deal with the shortage of operators in the area and the lack of availability to offer changes.
The Areus monitoring, when it was just after 5pm, spoke of 8 orange codes at the Santissima Trinità, plus 11 blue ones (stable conditions but with suffering), 5 green ones and no white ones. Twelve oranges at Brotzu, 15 blues, 13 greens. The situation at the Polyclinic is calmer.
From Is Mirrionis, according to the testimonies collected, there are at least 4 patients who, once registered, decided to leave, exhausted by the long wait.
