Five days after announcing the acquisition of a minority stake in Cagliari Calcio , Maurizio Fiori introduces himself. The entrepreneur, originally from Carbonia, born in 1972, moved to the United States in 1990, where he began his career and achieved excellent results. Now, the investment is in his homeland: "I am proud to announce that, together with a group of trusted partners through Praxis Capital Management, we have become shareholders of Cagliari Calcio. For me, this is not just an investment, but a privilege and a profoundly valuable responsibility," Fiori wrote in a LinkedIn post.
"I thank Tommaso Giulini and the entire Cagliari Calcio organization for their trust and collaboration," Fiori continued. "As a proud Sardinian, this moment carries a profound meaning. Cagliari embodies the resilience, passion, and sense of belonging that unites all Sardinians on the island and around the world. I aim to contribute to the club's growth and success, both on and off the field."
