A noisy protest , with horns honking in the streets of downtown Cagliari and traffic slowing down . About thirty dark cars and vans drove through the streets of the Sardinian capital this morning to protest against Salvini's decrees.

Operators who provide chauffeur-driven rental services (NCC) and those who operate through the Uber platform have taken to the streets with a carousel of vehicles as in 11 other Italian cities.

Signs reading "let us work" were posted on some vans.

The protesters are asking the government to block the measures that "impose a minimum waiting time of 20 minutes on NCCs, also forcing users to communicate the route and times of the service".
