Tomorrow at 8.30 pm the appointment with "A dinner for life" is renewed for the tenth consecutive year along the streets of Cagliari . An event promoted by the Airc Foundation, Sardinia Committee, and open to citizens who every year registers a large participation, allowing the collection of important funds to be allocated to the work of Airc researchers engaged in the development of projects for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. An elegant table approximately 50 meters long will be set up in the splendid setting of the Public Gardens, in Largo Giuseppe Dessì, to welcome over 180 diners in a suggestive atmosphere who will be able to enjoy a dinner under the stars in the scents and flavors of summer. An opportunity to experience a special evening and together make your contribution to oncology research to make cancer increasingly curable. The Airc Foundation confirms itself again in 2024 as the backbone of Italian oncology research with a total investment of over 143 million euros for 695 research projects, 93 scholarships, 15 special programs. A commitment that is strengthened with the support of Ifom, the Institute of Molecular Oncology of the Airc Foundation and an international center of excellence. Currently around 6 thousand doctors and scientists supported by Airc work in 102 mainly public institutions: university laboratories, hospitals and other research centres.
