A huge turnout at Sergio Atzeni Park in Quartucciu for the third annual "Dinner Under the Colored Stars 2026" on Saturday evening, with over 30 tables and more than 200 people in attendance. The large table was enlivened by homemade food, desserts, music, dancing, and locally sourced produce. The local area also had its say, with the Sant'Isidoro Rural District distributing grapes to attendees and offering three of the evening's five prizes. Produce arrived directly from the countryside of Quartu, Quartucciu, and Maracalagonis, with tomatoes, eggplants, and grapes harvested just hours earlier. Among the lucky winners was Patrizia Campus, who took home her second consecutive win after winning the prize for best table last year. "Two participations and two wins: next year I'm aiming for three out of three," the two-time champion joked.

At the end of the evening, participants donated food to the "Angeli della strada" association, led by Roberto Carrus. The meal was then donated to the homeless in the surrounding area.

Culture Councilor Elisabetta Contini gave the final assessment: "The most important thing is participation. Seeing citizens and associations choosing to be there and share the evening means reviving the way the neighborhood lived, as it did years ago. It was a truly meaningful evening," she stated.
