Cagliari, a pipeline explodes: hundreds of people without water

Broken pipe, long repair times and a day of heavy inconvenience for numerous residents of Pirri, who remained without water from the early hours of the day.

The leak opened early this morning in via Risorgimento, halfway between via Vesalio and piazza Italia. The road quickly flooded. Meanwhile, there was a drop in pressure in homes. The taps remained dry after workers arrived to repair them.

By late afternoon the problem had not yet been resolved: hundreds of Pyrrheans were without water.
