It was a Sunday morning when Cagliari was awakened by the dramatic news of the accident in Viale Marconi . On that road, at the first light of dawn, four boys, all very young, had just lost their lives.
A month has passed since the deaths of Najibe Zaher , 19 years old, Giorgia Banchero , 24 years old, Simone Picci , 20 years old, and Alessandro Sanna , 19 years old. It was September 10th, and for Selargius, the city of one of the victims, Zaher, it should have been a day of celebration, with the celebrations of the Ancient Marriage.
The four were traveling in a Ford Fiesta which, at the height of the Median Axis overpass, had hit a curb, overturning. With them, in the car, there were also two other friends , injured but fortunately safe.
