Accompanied by musical interludes by maestro Battista Giordano, the anesthesiologist and director of the Nuoro Hospice presented his work which collects the stories and testimonials of the patients of the Nuoro Hospice and introduces us to a reality of excellence that is perhaps little known. in which the patient is the real protagonist, at the center of a process of humanization of care which should concern all sectors of medicine.

When everything appears to have no more meaning, when there seems to be no more room for other feelings than that of pity, the miracle happens, hope is rekindled and all those little big gestures that give full meaning to a how much is left to live. "May death find us alive", a phrase known to those involved in palliative care, in this case becomes a categorical imperative and a goal to be pursued with tenacity.

During the narration of the book, the author interfaced with the administrators, including the mayor Michele Solinas, and with the audience.
