The cargo Princess Amnah , flying the flag of Sierra Leone, has arrived in the port of Oristano , with a load of about 6 thousand tons of soft wheat from Ukraine .
The ship, the first to arrive in Sardinia, left the port of Chornomorsk on 12 September , passed through Istanbul to carry out the checks required by the United Nations agreement, and then landed at the Santa Giusta port on 22 September, where the officials of the Excise, Customs and Monopoly Agency and the chemists of the Cagliari laboratory have activated the procedures for inspecting the cargo and taking samples to be analyzed in order to verify the presence of all the requisites required for the marketing of soft wheat on the national territory.
The results of the checks were negative, both for radioactivity and for the safety of the cargo.
