«The rejection of the Asl Sulcis Iglesiente business plan is official. The regional council has detected the non-compliance of the company act, for the second time. And now it's time for the managing director, Dr. Campus, to be relieved of her duties." Carla Cuccu , regional councilor of Idea Sardegna writes it in a note .

«It seems that we are unable or unwilling to find organizational solutions , we continue to create problems by managing the CTO-Sirai situation in a villainous way – continues Cuccu -. The hospital network cannot and must not be ignored. Furthermore, the orthopedics of the CTO is a complex structure and must remain so, not as done in the company deed downgrading it to a simple departmental structure, thus erasing the history of the CTO of Iglesias excellence in the regional and national field ».

Many doctors , the regional councilor recalls, leave and prefer other hospitals «where they are valued for their skills and are put in a position to be able to operate with continuous programming. This is generating very serious organizational problems, which have been exploited by the general management, to divert funds and resources to Sirai to the detriment of Iglesias and his CTO hospital".

«As we read in the press of the last few days – adds Cuccu again – despite the company act providing for something else, we also want to move the birth point to Sirai . Yet another demonstration of the intentions of the Asl Sulcis Iglesiente management. I think that the situation can still be saved and is not completely compromised, but it is necessary to relieve the general manager of her duties ».

«Councillor Doria and the regional council must take immediate decisions – the conclusion – relieve Dr. Campus of her post and give concrete application to the hospital network, which has not yet been applied in its entirety and has not been implemented. We need answers to the citizens and we need to work for the health of the territory. We must look to the future with confidence, this situation has been going on for too many years, I hope that the Sardinia Region will immediately ensure a new general manager for the Sulcis Iglesiente ASL".
