Evening of fire and fear in Arzana . An allegorical float being set up for the next Carnival is on fire. It happened around 10pm yesterday in a warehouse used as a vehicle shelter, in via San Martino.

The alarm was triggered when the operations room of the Nuoro fire brigade received a report from a passer-by who noticed smoke coming out of a basement room . Two teams of firefighters from the Lanusei detachments intervened on the scene. and Tortolì who immediately took steps to extinguish the fire, limiting the damage to the garage.

Investigations are underway to trace the causes of the accident. The cleanup operations in the area continued until late at night.
