Arson attack on a shed in Fonni, 40 calves die

A shed was set on fire last night in Fonni, in the locality of S'Alimu. Forty calves died in the stake.
The firefighters of the Nuoro Provincial Command intervened on the spot and worked several hours to extinguish the fire with very high tongues of fire that started from the structure made with prefabricated elements in prestressed concrete, inside which there were also 500 round bales of hay, stocks of fodder and feed.
The walls were heavily damaged and part of the roof collapsed.
Present the carabinieri of Fonni and Mamoiada: from the first investigations it is inclined to the intentional nature of the stake.
