Armed with a knife, he robbed a young man in via Dettori in Cagliari, but was arrested by the police officers.

It was the early hours of yesterday morning, around 5:30, when three boys in their early twenties were approached by a foreigner with the excuse of selling them some drug. The criminal first hit one of the unfortunates with a kick in the leg, then pulled out a knife and had his wallet delivered with the sum of 110 euros.

Finally he fled along the stairs that connect Via Dettori with Via Manno, but the three young people chased him and blocked him. The result was a fight during which one managed to call 113. The police arrived on the spot and identified the stranger hiding under a van.

With no little difficulty they secured him and took him to the police station. He is a 21-year-old Algerian, arrested for aggravated robbery and resistance to a public official who was accompanied to the Uta prison.
