A trivial road accident turned into a violent brawl in Serramanna, in Piazza Matteotti. Seven people were reported for aggravated brawl by the Carabinieri, after an investigation that allowed them to reconstruct in detail what happened.

The facts date back to the afternoon of March 28, when a Ford C-Max driven by a twenty-nine-year-old - already known to the police - was rammed by a Ford Focus attributable to another young man with a criminal record. From words to deeds the step was short: in a few moments the situation degenerated, also involving relatives and friends who rushed to the scene.

The square turned into an improvised ring, with pushing, punching and shouting, until the intervention of the carabinieri, who avoided worse consequences and re-established order .

The investigations led to the identification of those responsible thanks to the testimonies collected and the analysis of surveillance cameras.

Investigators are now checking whether the episode is linked to other tensions already reported in the area. The seven people identified were reported at liberty, but investigations are continuing to ascertain the possible involvement of other people.
