Two arrests, four charges, and the seizure of illegal weapons, ammunition, narcotics, €28,000 in cash, and game. This is the result of an operation by the Forestry Corps, coordinated by the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office, which involved the areas of Sarroch, Pula, and Villa San Pietro . The searches, conducted on the morning of February 12th under a mandate from the Public Prosecutor's Office, involved the Pula Forestry Station , 40 members of the Cagliari Territorial Service , and the Guardia di Finanza's anti-drug dog unit .
During the checks , two rifles with erased serial numbers , various caliber cartridges, several doses of cannabis, game, and nets used for poaching were seized. Two men, aged 54 and 22, both from Pula, were arrested for carrying and possessing illegal weapons and taken to prison in Uta.
During further searches, forestry officers found cocaine, €28,000 in cash, and a small cannabis cultivation of ten plants . Four other people residing in Villa San Pietro, Pula, and Sarroch are under investigation for these incidents.
