Alghero: armed robbery in perfumery fails, the criminal fires a gunshot

Attempted armed robbery in Alghero . Moments of pure terror late yesterday afternoon in a shop selling hygiene and beauty products.

A man with a covered face and armed with a gun broke into the business in via Minzoni, in the Pietraia district, at the time of closing. He threatened the shop assistants asking to take the day's takings. Between panic and screams, the various people present inside the shop annoyed the robber who was forced to escape empty-handed . While fleeing, the hooded man fired a gunshot to scare those present . Fortunately no one was injured. The criminal's action lasted just over three minutes, but the panic among employees and customers of the shopping center began to subside only after a few hours. A State Police patrol is on site investigating the case.
