"Anyone trying to buy a ticket on the Aeroitalia website or app these hours will find an error message," remarks Ugo Cappellacci, deputy and regional coordinator of Forza Italia.

In the evening, a note from the company arrived: «Aeroitalia announces that the website and the official application have recorded a temporary disruption this afternoon due to an extraordinary peak in accesses. The technical blackout, lasting a total of 28 minutes», it reads, «was promptly resolved by the IT department, ensuring the complete restoration of functionality and full operation of the platforms. We apologize for the inconvenience with passengers and thank them for their understanding».
