A motorcycle driver died after going off the road at the new Macchiareddu roundabout.
The victim is a man in his 40s. Rescue efforts were unsuccessful.

Tragedy struck last night at the newly opened roundabout in Macchiareddu, in the industrial area near the Tecnocasic factory.
A motorcyclist in his 40s is believed to have gone off the road around 3:30 a.m. A passing motorist noticed him and raised the alarm. Rescuers arrived on the scene, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful.
