It is an ugly and vast fire that is devouring the countryside between Villasor and Villacidro: the land which, as the crow flies, is located a few hundred meters from State Road 196, is in flames.

The front began to advance from the territory of Decimoputzu, to arrive at Villasor, almost close to the S'Acqua Cotta crossroads. At least a hundred hectares destroyed. Also involved is an area of reforestation, holm oaks and eucalyptus.

A similar fire had already occurred in the same area two weeks ago, causing damage to the Agris headquarters.

Two helicopters from the Decimomannu military base are in action, one arrived from Pula and another from Villasalto. Numerous ground teams were involved on the front: one even arrived from Dolianova.

The fire broke out after emergency vehicles also intervened in Carbonia and Isili during the day.
