Another afternoon of fires in Sardinia , with a series of calls and requests for intervention to the Fire Brigade, Forestry Corps, Civil Protection, Barracelli and volunteers from north to south . There are 13 emergencies in the south of the island alone , with the situation of greatest alarm in Nuraminis, where the flames reached the village and two Canadair planes from Ciampino were deployed.

A fire broke out in the Sant'Orsola neighborhood of Sassari , with flames engulfing a large section of vegetation on Via Spanu Satta, sparking fears that the fire could spread to homes . Firefighters, Barracelli firefighters, and the Forestry Corps responded to the scene. It took workers over an hour to extinguish the blaze.

Flames also broke out in Siniscola , in the Spiaggia S'Aliterru area, where the Forestry Corps intervened with the support of two helicopters from the Anela and Fenosu bases.

Another fire is also raging in the countryside of the municipality of Bonnanaro , in the Sassari province, near Funtana Peideru. The Forestry Corps responded to the scene with the support of a helicopter from the Anela base.

Two Canadair aircraft and two Forestry Corps helicopters took off in Nuraminis , where the wind-driven flames attacked the countryside towards Monastir , reducing approximately 1,000 hectares of land to ashes and even grazing several houses in the village and a retirement home. The Sardinian Civil Protection, firefighters, Forestry Corps, associations, and volunteers were on site.

Alarms and firefighting operations also went out in Villaspeciosa and Serramanna.

In Tuili, the Forestry Corps is in action with a helicopter in the Serra Iddas area. In Quartu , a fire has broken out in the "Is Meris" countryside, devouring scrub and Mediterranean scrub . The alarm was raised immediately and volunteers from the Quartu NOS, the Sinnai VAB, the Forestry Corps, and the Fire Brigade intervened, having already extinguished the flames and begun cleanup operations.
