The Tempio Pausania Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the death of a 40-year-old woman from Olbia. Monica Eretta was found dead inside an apartment a few days ago. Prosecutors from the Gallura Prosecutor's Office have ordered an autopsy and a series of tests , which are already underway.

According to the little that has emerged about the investigation, there was a person inside the house who has not been charged. The case file is investigating the hypothesis that death was the result of another crime.

Some of the victim's relatives, represented by lawyer Giovanna Porcu, and her partner, assisted by lawyer Abele Cherchi, are calling for a thorough investigation into the woman's death . Monica Eretta was successfully recovering from a difficult situation and was being cared for by staff at the Olbia Serd (Residential and Rehabilitation Unit). Investigators are reconstructing the woman's movements and encounters in the hours immediately preceding her death.
