Migrant landings along the coasts of southern Sardinia continue unabated. Fifty-one people arrived in the latest arrivals.

Two small boats carrying a total of 21 people, including five women—one pregnant—and two minors, were intercepted by the Coast Guard 35 miles off the coast of Teulada. The migrants were transferred to Cagliari and then to the reception center in Monastir.

The same fate befell the other three foreigners found in Piazza Matteotti in Cagliari, who told police they had just landed directly in the city.

Two more landings took place in Sant'Antioco (15 people) and Teulada (12 more). All migrants were transferred to the reception center in Monastir.
