Oristano, special stamp duty for the Mutual Aid Society

On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the founding of the Società Operaria di Mutuo Soccorso di Oristano, scheduled for Sunday, October 11, in Oristano, Poste Italiane will activate a temporary philatelic service with a special postmark bearing the words "Società Operaria di Mutuo Soccorso Oristano - 160° anniversario di fondazione – 1866 – 2026 – 11.10.2026," requested by the Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso di Oristano. On the same day, from 10:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., mail delivered to the post office at the Società Operaia di Mutuo Soccorso's headquarters, Via Solferino, 58 – 07170 Oristano, will be postmarked with the special postmark.
