70% of the entire Sardinian population has completed the vaccination cycle
Given that it rises to 87.5% if only the vaccinable population is considered
Seven out of ten Sardinians have completed the vaccination cycle. The figure emerges from the latest government report: the island has reached 1,118,484 people vaccinated, 70% of the entire population.
Given that, if we consider the vaccinable population alone, it rises to 87.5% coverage.
2,571,992 doses delivered to Sardinia, 2,301,299 inoculated ones, equal to 89.5%.
Drivers of the immunization campaign are adolescents between 12 and 19 years old. It will be the desire to return to a normal life, it will simply be faith in science, the fact is that in this age group Sardinia is first in Italy, only 24.2% are still without a dose. Lombardy follows with 24.8 percent.
To give an example with numbers, last Monday in the 12-19 year old class there were 2,092 vaccinated, almost double their parents (1,152 those over 50), the thirty year olds 1,608 and the 40 year olds 1,373.
